A text to My Lecturer {SMS (Short Message Service)}

Greetings as usual with wink
A bit cold but never mind ~

As everyone’s know about our social life, we all live in an era called cyber-era or cyberspace era. When we want to meet someone or we just want to greet them, we can easily contact them through internet or we can just simply use our internet service such as; line.whatsaapp, bbm, kakaotalk but if you are missing someone badly so you have to see their face? We can use Skype or we can use video call service, which is available in our smartphone. The problem is that we cannot use them in every occasion.

When we want to text someone like your lecturer, your business partner, sometimes, we have to use the messenger, I mean the old messenger which is an ancestor to line, whatsapp and many more.
The problem is that, we usually use the informal languages when we text someone, but we cannot use them if we text our lecturer, our business partner. We have to know about “ text etiquette”

Today, my lecturer told our class about SMS (Short Message Service). My lecturer gave our class an assignment, sending a text message.I was wondering what I should write for our SMS project thing and I decided to write a permission text about Korean Speech Competition (It’s still a big dream for me tho lol)
My lecturer told us that we have to use proper words and just go to the point.
So, here’s, some short tips if you want to send a proper text message, the professional ones :
  1. Use a greeting
  2. Include your name
  3. Mention their name
  4. Keep it short
  5. Check spelling and grammar (it’s a must for this assignment lol)
  6. Say thanks at the end
Here's my text message to my lecturer

that's all thanks folks!!
Have a Good day!
