A lot of people nowadays write their feelings in social media. They are using various words choice, various style of writing and also the world’s new trend, abbreviation or slang.

Using English in your status post is a pride for some people because they feels like they are entering a new-whole-world-level, but what if using English in your status post will make everyone’s laugh, because your status post is grammatically wrong? ( Me, myself, I will not guarantee my blog post doesn’t include any grammatical errors and wrong diction, but at least I’m learning and not trying to be cool lol whatever) I will guarantee, you don’t want people making jokes with your status post don’t you? “Yes, of course” .

Today, I will try to learn and correct some status post on my Facebook wall ( I’m sorry for my friend, I took them for my assignment. Peace **v).

“This is my cat he name is BIRONG, why he name is birong? Because heis black,:))”

Don’t you think that the status post is a bit weird? Yes, I do!

Why?

“This is my cat he name is BIRONG”

If we look at the first time, the sentences is still correct, “This is my cat” is correct,  the problem is that the writer wrote “he name is BIRONG” he name is incorrect because name is showing someone or something also showing possession, which is the writer, should use the form of possessive pronoun. So the correct form should be “ his name is Birong”

Well, I don’t mind about the using of capital letters “BIRONG” because it’s not a formal status or something and may be the writer wanted to highlight his/her pet name.

What’s wrong with this status is that the writer, wrote “he name” the correction is still the same, we have to use the form possessive pronoun. The correct form should be “why his name is birong?”

“Because heis black”

Actually, it’s just a matter of spacing but still, it’s wrong. If it’s heis then it will not be the same meaning even though we don’t know whether it’s exist in the dictionary hahah. So, it’s should be “Because he is black”

It was all for today. I hope that it will make us more careful in posting our status on social media hehe
